How to Plan and Manage Your Home Project When You’re Already Super Busy
When your schedule is packed, the thought of adding a renovation, remodel, or new build to the mix can feel overwhelming. Sure, there are parts you might enjoy, but then there’s the planning, the research, the decisions—so many decisions. Your time is already carefully divided, and the idea of squeezing in one more major project? That’s enough to make anyone pause.
I totally get it. For me, the one-more-project-than-I-can-handle is meal planning and everything that goes with it. I don’t mind cooking. In fact, I usually enjoy it. But I don’t have the time (or frankly the desire) to sit down and trudge through hundreds of recipes to create an exciting, delicious, balanced meal plan every week. To write out a list of everything that needs to be done and in what order. To figure out how much I need of each ingredient. And to make sure it fits around my ridiculous dietary needs but still tastes good to my husband.
Left to my own devices, I’d probably just stick to the same meals on the same days every week. I wouldn’t have to fuss with anything. No menu planning, no finding new recipes to try, no worrying about whether or not I could eat it or Tony would like it. Simple. Easy. Done.
The catch, though, is that it would be an extremely boring way to eat—and to live. There would be nothing fun, nothing special about it. And how quickly would we get sick of seeing those same foods?

My solution? Hire Amy. Amy is a meal-planning whiz. I tell her what we like and how much time I want to spend cooking, and she hands me a full plan—recipes, shopping list, the whole package. I give the list to my husband (he does the shopping), and all I have to do is cook and eat.
Your Home Project Needs an “Amy”
Managing a renovation, remodel, or new build is the same way. There are a lot of moving parts. If you don’t have the time or mental bandwidth to keep track of them all, important decisions get overlooked, details fall through the cracks, and expensive mistakes pile up.
What if you had someone to handle those tedious, time-consuming pieces for you? Someone to be your home project’s version of Amy—keeping things organized, anticipating potential issues, and ensuring everything runs smoothly so you can focus on the parts you actually enjoy?
Psssst – that’s exactly what I do.
