We were overwhelmed and concerned about making a decision we would end up hating, but having to live with “forever.”
Dixie knows the questions and has seen the consequences of decisions, and provides great counsel and support. With Dixie, we had a partner — she clearly knew what she was doing, we felt comfortable with her and felt we could communicate openly and directly with her. Every recommendation she made, made sense.
Without exception, everyone who has walked in the house finds it beautiful, as we do every day. In addition, she had sources of things (furniture, window treatments, even framing) that expedited our process and in the case of the furniture saved a tremendous amount of time and money.
Dixie worked with us on a new, custom-built home. She started by reviewing the plans, which she has the expertise to do. She established a good relationship with our contractor and was literally an integral part of the whole process. She made several suggestions about the exterior, which were spot-on. In one instance where we were completely stuck on where to end the stone in our patio area and Dixie solved the issue. Dixie was a terrific partner who exemplified both professionalism and passion, and it was a joy to work with her."
